Kodaikanal hill station reopens for tourists
Madurai: After Ootty, Kodaikanal has opened its doors for tourists amid Covid-19 pandemic. It is one of the most sought after tourist destination in south India.
The holiday destination was closed down since March following Covid-19 outbreak.
The Dindigul district administration has given permission to reopen only three tourists spots – Bryant Park, Rose Garden and Chettiar Park.
Visitors with valid e-pass from the district administration can enter these tourist destinations.
The e-pass can be downloaded from the website of Tamil Nadu government. Visitors should carry address proof while travelling.
All are directed to follow Covid protocol. Masks, sanitizer and social distance are to be followed. It would be better to carry some food as not many hotels and restaurants are reopened.
