A month of rest at home after the Thailand trip and then to Lakshadweep, later to Turkey and Russia- Ramees had his travel plan fully prepared for 2020. But the Covid pandemic washed away his dreams and the one month at home became more than five months.
24-year-old Muttil native Ramees Roshan is a solo traveler. In the last three years he has travelled to five countries including Thailand and UAE.
Each of his journey explores ways to reduce expenses while travelling. The Thailand trip of 10 days was completed in under Rs 13,000. This is including the airfare. He also visited China, UAE, Bhutan, Nepal and Taiwan similarly.
According to Ramees, if one has the strongest desire to travel, money or age will not be an issue.
He shares the videos from his trip through YouTube channel Travelling Solo.
Most of his trips are inspired by online friendships. He has a wide friend network all around the world. The friends in each country helps him in stay, food and sightseeing.
Ramees returned after Thailand trip in last August. He was in preparation for Lakshadweep trip when the whole word was locked down due to coronavirus.
He is eagerly waiting for the pandemic to subdue to resume his trips.
