School boy invents 'pen sanitizer' for COVID resistance
Anakkara (Palakkad): A school boy has invented a pen sanitizer that can be useful for COVID resistance activities. Abhay, a class 8 student of Vattenadu Higher Secondary School, invented the pen sanitizer to stop disease transmission and ensure hygiene.
Abhay said that he invented the simple but useful equipment in order to make use of sanitizer a habit among students. As lack of hygiene can lead to many diseases, sanitizing hands at regular intervals should be made a habit.
The pen sanitizer has been designed with one end as a normal pen and the other end as a sanitizer spray. If sanitizer is filled once, it can be used upto 20 times. It can be refilled also. The user only needs to spray the sanitizer on hands. The other end can be used for writing.
Abhay is planning to approach the authorities to request them to include this idea in the project of education department. Abhay's parents Aloor native Haridasan and Kshema and his sister Ardra also support him in his creative ventures.
