Neeraj Gopal has secured the post of security analyst for white hat in the product security assessment and analysis department of Facebook in London.
Neeraj who has never learned a security-related course landed the dream job by pointing out the security lapses in Facebook. After completing his IT diploma, Neeraj was working as an engineer at Wipro in Bengaluru. There he did his masters in systems engineering. It was during this time Neeraj started bug-hunting in Facebook in 2016.
Soon, Neeraj entered the Facebook hall of fame. He was one among the first 15 Facebook hall of famers till 2019. Facebook ranks hall of famers according to the security lapses identified by them. Following this, Neeraj started receiving invitations for Facebook live hacking events and private bug bounty conferences.
Neeraj is proud to have taken part in the events held in London and Singapore. After four years of hard work, Neeraj was invited for an interview in 2019. After five rounds, Neeraj secured the job.
Neeraj is the son of retired teachers P. K. Gopalan and P. M. Nirmala. Neeraj’s wife Anjusha Saseendran is an Ayurveda doctor and a native of Olavakode.
