Bengaluru: S D Prajwal and Rishi Reddy kept the Indian flag flying high by clinching the Doubles title at the just-concluded tennis final at Harare in Zimbabwe.
In the final of the USD 15,000 ITF Men’s Futures event, Prajwal and Rishi defeated Martin Beran (Canada) and Joshua Paris (Britain) 7-6 (5), 6-4. This was the first-ever professional title for the Karnataka lads.
Prajwal hailing from Mysuru and Rishi from Bengaluru have been playing professional tennis at international level for a while now.
Both players are in their early 20s and post their win at Harare, continued to play in the ongoing calender events in the international circuit.
