PV Sindhu arrives Kerala; stuns in traditional attire
Thiruvananthapuram: World badminton champion PV Sindhu looked stunning in 'set mundu', a traditional attire in Kerala while visiting temples on Wednesday morning here. She arrived Kerala to attend the honouring ceremony in the state capital hosted by the government.
She paid obeisance to Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple and Attukal temple here. Her mother P Vijaya also accompanied her.
Sindhu reached Kerala on Tuesday around 9 pm from Hyderabad.
The state government will honour the sports star at an event organised in Jimmy George stadium here at Wednesday evening. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will award her a cheque of Rs 10 lakh and memento at the function.
She will be welcomed to the venue with a grand procession from the central stadium.
Earlier, Sindhu had visited Kerala after winning silver in Olympics.
