Kochi: Calicut Heroes thrashed Kochi Blue Spikers 5-0 to pick up a bonus point in the Pro Volley League match here at the Rajiv Gandhi indoor stadium on Saturday. With this win, Calicut is close to enter the semi finals of the league. Score: 15-11, 15-9, 15-14, 15-13, 15-10.
In the League, it is the first such match where the winning team won all sets in the match. Captain Jerome Vinith became the top scorer with 16 points and Paul Lotman was declared man of the match.
