Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala minister V Sivankutty on Thursday said that BCCI and its selectors are responsible for India's loss against England in the semi-finals of the ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia.
In his Facebook post, he claimed that Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik, who performed poorly in the tournament, were selected by renouncing a player like Sanju V Samson, who had a better batting average and was in great form prior to the World Cup. He added that Sanju's omission from the team is an "injustice."

"Rishabh Pant was selected for the upcoming ODI and T20I series in New Zealand as the vice-captain. Their agenda is to let him continue playing with the team no matter how poor his form is. Sanju was included in the team only as a batsman. Additionally, Sanju is not selected in the ODI series against Bangladesh while Pant is named in the first team," he said.
