Ahmedabad: Kerala girls bagged gold in Canoeing and Kayaking events at the ongoing National Games on Tuesday. Parvathy bagged gold in 200m single Kayaking and Mekha Pradeep won the prize in 200m Canoeing.
So far in the tournament, Kerala has bagged two gold medals in the same events. Mekha Pradeep and Akshaya Sunil bagged gold in 500m women's double Canoeing, and the team of Treesa Jacob, Sreelakshmi, Parvathy and Aleena won gold in the group event. Kerala has so far clinched 21 gold medals in the tournament.
