Kerala Blasters
Kochi: The next season of the Indian Super League will hold ten matches in the home ground of Kerala Blasters FC, Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium, Kochi, said the Greater Cochin Development Authority and the club in a joint press release.
The inaugural match will be in Kochi. The team will start training in Kochi in August, the press release said.
The GCDA will continue to provide support to the Blasters. The matches in Kochi will be helpful to improve the development of the sport in the state. GCDA will improve the facilities in the stadium. The Authority will also provide land for the first football museum being started by Blasters, the press release said.
The decisions were made at the meeting of GCDA chairman K Chandran Pillai with Balsters' director Nikhil Baradwaj and other officials.
