Kochi: After a disappointing 7th place finish in the 2019-20 season of Indian Super League (ISL) Kerala Blasters FC have begun their preparation for the next season.

With the team gearing up to face Odisha FC in Bhubaneswar in the final match, the management is already trying to rope in players for the upcoming season.

Jamshedpur FC captain Tiri, goal keepers Albino Gomez and Prabhshubhan Singh have reportedly reached a deal with the club for next season.

Injuries to key defenders turned out to be a huge blow for the Kerala team. Defender Jose Luis Espinosa Arroyo aka Tiri will be brought to the club to strengthen the team’s backline.

The team has reportedly reached a contract with Tiri. He played only a few games for Jamshedpur this season due to injury. Tiri has been playing for Jamshedpur since 2017.

A former player of Athletico Madrid B team, Tiri, has also played for ATK in the 2015, 2016 seasons.

Prabhshukhan Gill will join Blasters from Bengaluru FC. The lack of playing time prompted the young keeper to join the Kerala franchise.

Experienced goal keeper Albino Gomes will also join the Kochi based side from Odisha FC.
