I wasn’t enjoying myself and I wasn’t happy with certain things. I will never speak bad about the club but as a footballer you need to be happy in order to perform so I decided to make the decision to leave. Just wanted to say thank you so much to all the fans for your support over the years and the love you’ve shown me has been amazing. I love you all and will never forget you. Good luck to the club in the future. Thank you.”
German had joined the I League club of Kerala from the Hemel Hempstead Town Football Club, a semi-professional football club based in Hemel Hempstead that is part of the National League South in England. The foreigner has scored two goals in the current season for Gokulam. He had also played for Kerala Blasters in the 2015-16 ISL season.
