Even though Australia beat India to win gold in the T20I cricket at the Commonwealth Games 2022 on Sunday, the performance of skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and her team caught the eyes of everyone.

One of the most iconic moments of the final came when Radha Yadav managed to run out Meg Lanning in the 11th over. The 22-year-old-old read the movement of Lanning at the non-striker's end after batter Beth Mooney played a ball straight to Yadav and attempted for a single. However, Yadav caught the ball comfortably after diving forward and threw the ball right onto the stumps through her legs. It was one of the two impressive fielding skills shown by the young bowler in the finals. In the following over, Yadav completed a signature catch to dismiss Tahlia McGrath.

India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur played a brave knock of 65 runs but was unable to save India from the hands of defeat as Australia won the match by nine runs to clinch the Commonwealth Games 2022 gold medal.

India was bowled out for 152 and had to settle for the silver medal in their maiden Commonwealth Games campaign.
