Surat: Vidarbha reached 45 for 3 at stumps on the first day of their quarterfinal match against Kerala at Lalbhai Contractor Cricket Stadium here on Thursday.

Vidarbha, who won the toss and elected to bat first, is under pressure as it has lost three early wickets in the match that had a delayed start due to rain.  

Kerala got its first breakthrough as Vidarbha captain F Y Fazal (9) was dismissed when he was caught by Arun Karthick off a delivery from Nidheesh M D.  Akshay KC struck twice by scalping the wickets of Wasim Jaffer and  SR Ramaswamy.

At stumps, Vidarbha was 45 for 3 with Ganesh Satish and Karan Sharma at the crease.
