Jaipur: In a nail-biting climax, India defeated New Zealand for five wickets in the first match of the island county's India tour. With this win, team India breathed relief from the humiliating loss in ICC T20 World Cup.
Winning the toss, India skipper Rohit Sharma sent the Kiwis to bat. They scored 164, losing 6, in 20 overs. Martin Guptill scored 70 and Mark Chapman hit 63 runs.
India scored 166 in 19.5 overs. Suryakumar Yadav (62), Rohit Sharma (48) are India's top scorers.
