Nagpur: Half centuries from K. L. Rahul and Shreyas Iyer helped India post 174/5 against Bangladesh in the decisive third T20I at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium here on Sunday.
After losing openers Rohit Sharma (2 run from 6 balls) in the second over and Shikhar Dhavan (19 runs from 16 balls) in the sixth over, Rahul (52 from 35 balls) and Shreyas (62 runs from 33 balls) steadied the Indian ship.
Rishabh Pant failed once again but Manish Pandey’s 22 from 13 balls helped India add valuable runs on the board.
For Bangladesh, Shafiul Islam and Soumya Sarkar took two wickets each while Al-Amin Hossain took one wicket.
