Day/Night Test: India bundle out Bangladesh for 106 on day 1

Kolkata: Indian pacers dished out a splendid performance to bowl out Bangladesh for 106 on the opening day of their maiden Day/Night Test here on Friday.

In their first innings in the pink-ball Test, India’s score stood at 35/1 at the tea break. India lost opener Mayank Agarval who scored 14 from 21 balls.

Ishant Sharma (5/22) claimed five wickets, Umesh Yadav (3/29) snapped three while Mohammed Shami (2/36) took two.

Bangladesh’s top scorer was opener Shadman Islam with 29 from 52 balls. Four of the Bangladeshi batsmen returned to the pavilion without opening their account.
