Kozhikode: The final day of the National School Meet saw Kerala adding three more gold to its medal tally in the first hours itself.
While Lizbeth Caroline completed triple breaking national record, K R Athira (cross country) and Abitha Mary (senior girls’ 800m) clinched gold on Tuesday.
Lizbeth of Kozhikode Pulloorampara St George HSS, completed hat-trick by clearing 12.56m in junior girls’ triple jump. She broke the record(12.36m) set by Sibani of West Bengal in 2006.
Earlier, Lizbeth had emerged winner in junior girls’ long jump and high jump too.
In cross country, K R Athira bagged gold while Kerala’s Sandra S Nair came second.
