Onam spreads joy in schools,colleges
This year, students welcome Onam with all its grandeur in schools and colleges after a hiatus of two years due to the pandemic. Most of the schools and colleges celebrated Onam on the day before the institutions close for Onam vacation. Flower carpets (Pookalam), Maveli, Onam songs, and games added hues to the celebrations. Students and teachers arrived by wearing Kerala ethnic wears like Kasavu sarees, skirts,shirts and mundu marking the arrival of Onam.
