MBIFL 2023: Oration series to begin with Shashi Tharoor

Kozhikode: The fourth edition of Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters will be held from February 2 to 5, 2023 at Kanakakunnu palace in Thiruvananthapuram.

As many as 100 orations will be conducted at selected locations in the state. Shashi Tharoor will kick start the series of speeches on November 22 at 5 pm from the cultural beach in Kozhikode. Entry is free for all.

Mathrubhumi will reach out to several countries with eminent orators and writers as a part of the centenary celebrations. Malayalam language, culture, thoughts, literature and art will unravel in the speeches.

Over 500 personalities, including Booker prize winners, will participate in the International Festival of Letters with its theme ‘In the shadow of history and light of the future’.
