Two men steal petrol from workshop at night, bring back next day with apology note
Erumeli: When Erumeli Kizhakkethil Nehi arrived to open his two wheeler workshop on Saturday morning, he was stunned to see a bottle of petrol and a note left along with it. Though he was taken aback for a moment, he read the note and burst into laughter.
The note read, ‘Our bike ran out of fuel in the middle on a journey at night. Since the pump was closed, we took the petrol from the blue Pulsar bike left in the workshop without permission. We apologise for what we did and also return more quantity of petrol than we took. Please understand the situation and forgive us – by two ill-fated guys.’
Two young men who were travelling on bike from Mundakkayam to Ranni at night the other day were stuck on the way as they ran out of fuel. Since they had no other way to get petrol in the late hour, they took petrol from the workshop and continued their journey. But the workshop owner did not know any of the incidents.
After Nehi found the note, he checked the CCTV visuals and found two persons taking petrol and bringing it back next day. Nehi posted a note on Facebook saying that he has forgiven the two ‘ill-fated guys’.
