Thrissur turns venue for two 'international weddings’ as siblings marry foreigners
Thrissur: Siblings Priyanka and Pranav in Mangad near Erumapetty here have made headlines by entering wedlock with individuals from Ireland and Hong Kong on the same day. The curious weddings were scheduled on Sunday at Pananjikattil ancestral temple in adherence to Covid-19 protocol.
Pranav and Priyanka are the daughter and son of the couple Pananjikattil Suresh and Manju who is settled in Mumbai. Among the siblings, the elder Priyanka who is a freight analyst in Ireland has got married to Ireland native Victor Pomero. Interestingly, Pomero is fond of Indian spirituality, customs, celebrations and cuisine. He works as a senior cyber security consultant.
Meanwhile, Pranav who is a researcher in architect and building environment has tied the knot with Indian-origin girl Khyadhi who hails from Hong Kong. Khyadhiand Pranav fell in love with each other in London during their college days.
Pomero is the son of Seamus and Celine, while Khyadhiis the daughter of Jyothi and Ashwini.
