Thodupuzha: A robot will be used for the election awareness campaign in Idukki district. The state election commission has decided to take the robot developed by Inker Robotics as part of the digital awareness campaign.
The robot was introduced at the SVEEP programme organised at Thodupuzha municipal bus stand on Saturday.
The robot can also communicate with the voters.
The robot is equipped with 60 sensors and High Definition touch screen with three cameras. It moves on wheels.
Once the battery drains out, the robot will find the charging station and charge its battery by itself.
It has two cameras like the eyes of a human being. Using these cameras, the robot will be able to examine its surroundings.
The robot can hear the sound like human beings. It can move its hands and communicate easily with all.
The robot will recognise things in front of it using the infra-red sensor. It communicates with the people through the sub-woofer system.
The public can clear their doubts on the election procedures with the robot.
After the awareness programme at Thodupuzha, it will be taken to Kattappana.
