Sreeja will get her job: Crime branch to probe
Thiruvananthapuram: Sreeja, who lost her govt job due to forged documents, will be offered job. The decision to prepare the appointment letter has been made in the PSC meeting. With this, Pathanamthitta Mallappally native S Sreeja will join as Assistant Salesman in Civil Supplies Corporation.
PSC has also decided to hand over Sreeja’s complaint to the Crime Branch. In a probe, it was found that the certificate submitted to relinquish the job was not prepared by the original candidate.
Meanwhile, a woman named Sreeja, who is a Kollam native and a government employee, has given a letter to PSC stating that the controversial documents was submitted by her. She is a clerk at the Revenue Department in Kunnathur. She informed the PSC that the documents was submitted after she was compelled to give it not knowing another ‘Sreeja’ was present in the list. This happened as the name, initial and date of birth of both are the same. As she had written many PSC exams earlier, she had no doubt regarding the final list of Civil Supplies Corporation. She entered government service in 2014 and thought that someone else can get job with the omission of her name if she relinquishes the new job offered. PSC will also hand over this letter to the police.
PSC justified that the documents were received examining the certificates of notary and the gazetted officer. It demanded to initiate investigation against those who helped in creating the fake documents.
