Rituals performed in a temple in Malappuram for PM Modi’s welfare
Thenhipalam: A spiritual offering has been made in a temple here ahead of the swearing-in ceremony of prime minister Narendra Modi in his second term. Holy horse figures were offered to Moonniyur Kaliyattakkavu temple for the prime minister. BJP Vallikkunnu assembly segment committee prepared the horse figure for PM Modi.
Temple Protection Committee state secretary A. O. Jagannivasan had offered to dedicate horse figures to Kaliayattakkavu temple if Narendra Modi came into power for another term. Mandalam president P. Jayannivasan and Abhibhashaka Parishad state committee member Adv. Aravindan also attended the ritual.
Sambavan Vellari Apputty and team who traditionally make the horse figure for the temple created the figures. After two days of ride around the place, the horse figures will be dedicated to the temple on Friday when the Kaliyattam festival will take place.
