Letter written in strange language tied to locked door leaves family tensed in Idukki
Thodupuzha: A letter written in a strange language was found tied to the front door of a house leaving the family and locals tensed. The piece of paper with some marks like bloodstain was found from the house of G Bijumon at Thachett Nagar near Thodupuzha cooperative hospital.
Bijumon found the letter on Thursday morning. When he could not open the front door, he came out through the back door and checked the front area. He then found the letter tied on the front door which was locked from outside.
A few words were written in an unfamiliar language and signature also was placed on the paper. A few fingerprints also were seen on the wall. Biju said that the front door was found locked from outside a few days back too. However, the family had not taken it seriously.
Following the incident, Biju filed a complaint with Thodupuzha police. But Thodupuzha CI Sudheer Manohar said that this was done by someone in order to scare the family and the marks on the letter were not bloodstains. He added that CCTV cameras will be installed in the area. No case was charged yet.
Bijumon said that no police officers came for any inquiry even after filing the complaint.
He runs a lathe shop in Mangattukavala. His family includes mother, wife and two children.
