Kochi Metro Rail’s pillar frame bends during construction
Tripunithura: The frame of a pillar which is being constructed as part of extending Kochi Metro Rail got bent here on Thursday evening. The incident took place at Vadakkekotta area during the work.
Though workers were present at the site, no one was injured.
KMRL authority reported that the frame got bent due to a weight balance issue while replacing the staging of the frame for concreting it. Later, the pillar frame got fixed by using a crane.
KMRL officials informed that it was not an accident but a normal thing that would take place during the work.
