Chitharesh Nateshan from Kochi is the strongman of strongmen in the world. He has brought the 2019 ‘Mister Universe’ to India for the first time. He was crowned ‘Mr. World’ in the 90-kilogram category and he also emerged on top in the competition of 'Mr. Worlds' from all other categories and was awarded the ‘Mr. Universe’ title.
Despite winning the ‘Mr. Universe’ he does not get enough recognition. Earlier, Chitharesh was also crowned ‘Mr. Delhi’, ‘Mr.India’ and ‘Mr. Asia’ titles.
After conquering the summits of body building, Chitharesh hopes to get a government job. He is also interested in acting in films.
Hockey player at Maharajas
Body building has been Chitharesh’s ambition from childhood. And so he started training from the age of 15. He was also a hockey player while studying at Maharajas college and wanted to excel at the sport during his time there.
Later, he took a degree in physical education from Karyavattom campus of Kerala University. And after this he went to Delhi as a trainer.
40 eggs and 1 kg chicken per day
Chitharesh wakes up by 6 am every day. And in a day, he eats 7 times and works out for three and half hours. His daily diet includes 40 eggs, one kilogram of chicken and protein shakes for protein consumption. Sweet potato, rice, vegetables, fish and oats are also part of his food.
Rs 7 lakhs debt
He spends between Rs 1000 and Rs 1500 for his diet every day. Even for participating in competitions abroad, his expenditure crosses Rs. I lakh.
He had spent Rs 1.40 lakhs while participating in Mr. Universe competition. Since he cannot go for work while he is competing in events, his total debt has piled up to Rs. 7 lakhs.
The Ernakulam, Vaduthala native is currently supported by his friends and family.
