Girl appears for Plus Two exam deeply pained over father's death due to Covid
Mavelikkara (Alappuzha): In a heart-breaking incident, a girl appeared for Plus Two exam bearing the deep pain of losing her father all of a sudden.
Mankamkuzhi native K G Sunil (48), a BSF jawan, died of Covid on Wednesday while he was undergoing treatment in Vandanam medical college. He came to his native place on vacation. But his daughter Sneha had to appear for the higher secondary final exam on Thursday.
Sneha is a student of AR Rajaraja Varma Memorial Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Mavelikkara. On knowing about her father’s demise, school principal J Pankajakshi, teacher Sreeja C Panicker and chief superintendent C L Wilson had contacted her family.
Following this, Sneha came to school with a relative on Thursday and returned after writing the exam. The last rites were held after Sneha reached home. Sunil is survived by wife Surjith, who works as secretary of Vallikunnam service cooperative bank, and son Sourav also.
