Engagement held with groom in Qatar, bride in Thrissur; virtual shoot stuns all
Thrissur: When Sreejith extended the ring towards the mobile screen, his fiancee Radhika also extended her hand from miles away. The beautiful moments were captured by the photographer though the bride and groom were at different locations. Thus the lockdown also witnessed a virtual engagement ceremony.
The COVID crisis has put people in distress, but Keralites never give in. Engandiyoor native Sreejith is working in Qatar and his fiancee Radhika lives in Chenthrappinni. Their families had planned to conduct their engagement grandly. But the COVID outbreak and the lockdown came in the way of their plans.
However, photographer Vishnu Raveendran suggested a virtual shoot of the ceremony and the problem was simply resolved. Thus the groom got ready in Qatar and appeared through video call. The bride also was beautifully adorned. Vishnu made the bride and groom pose according to his instructions and captured stunning pictures of the virtual event.
Freelance photographer Vishnu Raveendran who runs a photo company named 'Wedbuk' in Vadanappally introduced the idea of virtual photoshoot. Earlier, he was widely noticed for his experiments to click photos in a bat-like position during wedding photoshoots.
