Drawing on canvas with henna, Mohanlal's hardcore fan creates 333 pictures
Kochi: Thrissur native Nikhil Varma created 333 characters of Mohanlal using henna on canvas to express his intense love to the superstar. A costume designer, Nikhil started the exhibition on May 21 as a gift to the great actor on his birthday.
The first picture depicts the villainous character in Mohanlal’s first movie ‘Manjil Virinja Pookkal’. Many other characters including the ones he did in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada movies can be seen at the exhibition.
Titled as ‘Sparsham’, the fund raised through the organic painting exhibition will be used for charity works. The eco-friendly paintings are drawn using henna on jute canvas and framed with bamboo. The pictures were completed within eight months.
The last picture in the exhibition is the character in ‘Lucifer’. Nikhil has been a hardcore fan of Mohanlal since he was 5 years old. Nikhil is still waiting to show his pictures to Mohanlal.
