Cherthala: Arvind Kumar Pai is getting recognized globally with six national and international records. The Cherthala man’s feat comes in a span of two-and-half years and has found a place in the Limca Book of Records first in 2015 and also in the new Limca Record Books to be released in 2017.

30-year-old Arvind’s name was included twice in the India Book of Records and in the Asia Book of Records. He was the youngest Keralite and also the first Konkani speaking man to find a place in three record books in the same year.

Arvind is son of late Shanti Nivas Muralidhara Babu and Ranjitabai and belongs to Ward 33 of Cherthala.

Arvind first entered the Limca Books by affixing 322 stamps on a cover and gifting it to his mother on her birthday. In the same year, he found his name in the India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records to be the first person to collect most number of Gandhi stamps.

On Arvind’s mother’s 56th birthday, he gifted her 1000 Indian ten rupee notes showcasing her birthday in US format of date and entered the India Book of Records.

The Limca Book honoured him for collecting the most number of Gandhian stamps printed from over 100 foreign countries.

The yet-to-be-released Limca Books has included Arvind’s name for his collection of One Rupee notes numbering 6500 which has the signature of all finance secretaries from the year 1949 to 2016.

At a function held in Chertala, Adv A M Areef MLA announced Arvind’s 6th record. S Nandakumar, headmaster of Thuravoor T D High School attended the function. Arvind’s wife is Jothilakshmi and Siddhi Arvind Pai is his daughter.
