Ambulance turns exam hall, student writes exam on stretcher
Poochakkal: Chandana, a student at the SNHSS Sreekandeswaram, attended the Plus Two exam reclined on a stretcher inside the ambulance after she fractured her leg in a road accident.
Chandana is one among the four students who were hit by a car, on March 10, while returning after the exam. Eight persons including four students were injured after being hit by a car driven by an Assam native. He was arrested by the police for drunken driving.
The other three girls, Sagi, Anakha and Archana also attended the exam on Wednesday.
Chandana has one more exam on May 29, that of Home Science. Sagi and Anakha have exams on May 28 and 29. Archana has exam on May 28.
The accident occurred on the first day of the exam. They could not attend the next three exams before lockdown. These exams would be attended along with SAY exams.
School principal and Higher Secondary district coordinator AD Viswanathan, chief superintendent Dileepkumar, Deputy Chief Superintendent N lekha arranged the facilities for the children to attend exams.
