Alappuzha man turns barn for hay storage into suite room, then sets up theatre too
Pallippuram (Alappuzha): Jayakrishnan hailing from Pallippuram turned a barn for hay storage in his house into a suite room just like the one in a multi-star hotel and now he has set up a theatre inside of it. The theatre has a length of only 4 metres and breadth of 2 metres.
Jayakrishnan started converting the barn when he was bored during the lockdown. He does plumbing and core cutting for a living. Once he worked in a high-class hotel owned by the government. He was inspired by this experience and decided to convert the barn into a suite room.
The mini theatre he made has all the facilities of a real one. DTS sound system with seven speakers, LED projector, projector screen, Wi-Fi connection, air conditioning, seat arrangements, exit and entry boards are there in Jayakrishnan’s theatre. He did 80 percent of its works all by himself. This facility was made for his family members.
He is the son of late Ramachandran Nair and Saraswathy Amma. His brother Abhilash also helped him in building the suite room and theatre. Both of them are Mathrubhumi agents.
