Though the ministry of external affairs sanctioned more flight services, the authority decided to reduce it after holding talks with the Indian embassy.
“The services were reduced after examining the fall in the number of passengers. However, more services will be operated as per demand in the next phase of repatriation,” informed Negi.
“Compared to Keralites, a large number of north Indians are depending on the repatriation flights. Hence, the embassy decided to reduce the flight services to Kerala,” he added.
