UAE to extend all visas by 3 months without fine

The action is the result of the decision taken at the cabinet level.

Dubai: Authorities stated that all Visas including residential Visa which is about to expire will be extended by a period of three months without any penalty in UAE. People carrying residential visas, who have been living outside the country for more than 180 days, will not have their visas cancelled and no extra penalty will be levied from them, said Dubai Emigration Director General Major General Mohammed Ahmad Al Murry.

The action comes after the decision was taken at the cabinet level. Even if the Visiting, tourist, work visas of people get expired, they will be allowed to stay in the country without having to pay any sort of fine. Major General Al Murry said that the decision was arrived after taking into consideration the difficulties faced by residents and visitors in the UAE due to the spread of Coronavirus.
