Kuwait City: Foreign citizens in Kuwait above 65 years must have degree from a recognised university to be eligible for visa transfer in Kuwait. Public Authority for Manpower of Kuwait is planning to make this rule mandatory as part of enforcing strict rules for visa transfer, reported a local Arabic newspaper.
According to the statistics released by the ministry, 23,500 expatriates above 65 years are working in private firms here. Meanwhile, 2680 people are employed in public sector offices and 2250 people are working with family visa.
The records revealed that only 10,217 people above 65 years are graduated from recognised university.
With the new rule, Keralites who work in Kuwait will face trouble to transfer visa.
