Saudi Arabia lifts temporary entry ban; borders to be opened on Sunday
Riyad: Saudi Arabia has withdrawn the temporary ban on entry that was declared after the mutant coronavirus was detected in Britain. Following this, entry ban was declared in the country from December 20. As a result, Saudi Arabia closed the air, marine and land borders of the country.
International flight services to Saudi Arabia will resume from Sunday after the ban was called off. The ban will be lifted from 11 am local time.
Since the ban on international flights services have not been lifted completely, Indians will not be able to visit Saudi Arabia directly. Indians will have to reach UAE and remain in quarantine for a week before going to Saudi Arabia.
