Russia to join hands with Kerala to promote tourism, ayurveda, rubber
Thiruvanathapuram: The Russian government has opened doors to Kerala for cooperation in the fields of tourism, ayurveda and rubber industry. Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov revealed that the government will join hands with Kerala to cooperate in several fields.
He made the revelation in an official meeting with Kerala government’s special delegate A Sampath in Moscow.
Russian embassy delegates will hold talks with chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan for further procedures.
Meanwhile, it is reviewed that there is a steep rise in the number of Russian tourists to Kerala.
The Russian minister pointed out that climate, beautiful landscape and friendly behaviour of the public are the major highlights of Kerala tourism. It is learned that more priority will be given to promote Ayurveda in Russia.
