Al Ain: A Tirur native woman who was in UAE on a visiting visa died in a road accident in Al Khasna, Al Ain. The deceased is Jaseena Vellarikattu (Muthu-41), the wife of Abdul Majeed, Perunthallur.
Jaseena, who had arrived in Al Ain last Thursday, had been staying with her brother Abdul Hameed for two days. While en route from Al Ain to Abu Dhabi, their vehicle experienced a tire burst. Jasina lost her life at the scene of the accident.
Abdul Majeed, their two children, Jaseena's brother and son, as well as their relative who was driving the vehicle, sustained injuries. None of the injuries are considered serious, and the injured parties are currently receiving treatment at Al Ain Tawam Hospital.
The bereaved family has been informed that the deceased's body will be transferred to their hometown after the necessary procedures are completed. The body is currently kept at the hospital mortuary, with plans to transport it on Monday night.
Abdul Majeed, Jasina's husband, is employed at a private company in Abu Dhabi. They have two children, Mohammad Shamil and Fatima Sanha. Jasina is survived by her father, Vellarikad Alavi (known as Bapu Kakka), and her mother, Iyyathumma.
