Plaint against private schools in Kuwait for increasing fees
Kuwait City: A complaint has arisen that some private schools in Kuwait is steadily increasing tuition fees. The complaint has been filed to the ministry of education against some Indian-Arab schools in private sector.
It was pointed out in the complaint that as the ministry’s ban on increasing tuition fees exists, the schools tend to exploit the children in other ways. Some school managements keep increasing the price of textbooks and change the textbook content and uniforms every year, the complaint states.
The ministry of education informed that the complaints will be scrutinised and legal action taken against the guilty. The ministry’s ban on increasing tuition fees in all private schools in the ongoing academic year still exists.
