Online lottery: Thiruvananthapuram man in Dubai bags Rs 10 crore first prize

Shanavas

Dubai: Shanavas, a native of Thiruvananthapuram, has won the first prize of 50 lakh dirham (Rs 10 crore) in an online lottery draw of Dubai. The number series 7, 9, 17, 19, 21 made him the winner of the lottery.

Shanavas has been working in UAE for the last 15 years. He has been participating in online draw for 18 months.

Reacting to the big win, Shanavas said he would settle the debts and use the remaining money for business investment in Dubai.

Apart from Shanavas, Nelson, a Filipino too has won Rs 10 crore. Interestingly, this is the first time that two persons are simultaneously winning the first prize.
