Oman resumes issuing tourist visas as country recovers from COVID
Muscat: The Supreme Committee has resumed issuing tourist visas again in the country after it was stalled owing to COVID-19 transmission. Tourist visas will be issued through hotels and tourist companies. Royal Oman Police had started issuing the work visa the other day. The new decision was taken in the backdrop of the country recovering from the pandemic.
The Supreme Committee has instructed that all government employees should return to their offices from December 6. The decision was taken at the meeting convened by Home Minister and Supreme Committee chairman Sayyid Hamoud Bin Faisal Al Busaidi.
Although the COVID cases have come down, all the preventive measures are still in place in the country.
