Dubai: Those who return from UAE to India need not register their names in the Embassy or Consulate from now on. As an Air Bubble agreement exists between India and UAE, there is no need to register, the authorities made it clear. The returnees can directly book tickets from flight companies.
However, the NRIs should register in the Air Suvidha, the self-reporting form that should be compulsorily filled by all international arriving passengers. Earlier, they had to register in the consulate website and then book flight tickets of Air India and Air India Express via online.
PCR test is mandatory for those who travel from Abu Dhabi and Sharjah airports. However, COVID test is not mandatory for those who fly from Dubai International Airport to India, informed Air India Express authorities.
Meanwhile, the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) made it clear that normal flight service from India to abroad will not resume till September 30. However, the Vande Bharat Mission and cargo flight services will continue to operate.
