NRI organisations to arrange chartered flights for repatriation from Kuwait
Kuwait City: Some of the leading NRI organisations are planning to arrange chartered flights for repatriating NRIs stranded in Kuwait following COVID lockdown.
As the schedule flights of the central government are insufficient in the current circumstances, the organisations KALA Kuwait and Kuwait KMCC have applied for permission to charter flights.
Further procedures in this regard will be started as soon as the Ministry of Civil Aviation grants permission, said KALA Kuwait office-bearers Jyothish Cherian and C K Noushad.
The expats who are unsatisfied with the promises made by the central and state governments are seeking their own ways to return to their place, and they will be able to come back soon, said KMCC president Sharufudheen Kanneth.
Al-Hind travel agency and KMCC are joining hands to arrange the chartered flight service. KMCC leaders informed that the travel agency can start services after getting permission from the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
