Thiruvananthapuram: NoRKA Roots under the Kerala government has launched health insurance scheme for expatriates. The insurance scheme called Pravasi Raksha Insurance Project will benefit expatriates and their family members who are settled abroad with them.
Expatriates belonging to 18 to 60 age group and their family members will get the insurance coverage.
Rs 550 should be paid as annual premium under the scheme.
Inaugurating the project, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan informed that the government launched the project giving importance to health care of expatriates.
NORKA Roots is implementing the scheme in association with New India Assurance.
