Dubai: It was an unforgettable day for Mansoor, a Keralite working in the UAE. Mansoor, who made a call to the Club FM’s s studio in UAE was welcomed by a female voice. Only after a few minutes into the conversation Mansoor realised that he was talking to megastar Mammootty.

With his mimicking abilities, Mammootty not only captivated Mansoor’s heart but gave a pleasant surprise to the Club FM staff too.

Mansoor expected to talk to Mammootty when he dialed the number. However, a female voice received him. ‘She’ stuck up a conversation in the famed Pradeep Kottayam style. The 'woman radio jockey' even asked Mansoor whether he is a Mammukka fan. Mammooty was seemingly enjoying every bit of his time as a radio jockey.

He then switched over to his real voice. As Mansoor told him that he was driving, the actor did not even spare a minute to give him a piece of advice: “Don’t talk in mobile phone if you are driving.

“May I call the police to give you a ticket,” he asked.

Then Mansoor replied that he would park his car and talk.

“Don’t park your vehicle in the middle. Please find a safe spot on the roadside,” said Mammootty.

Mansoor further said he was using hands-free phone.

Mammootty was in no mood to spare him. “If so, please send me a photo now,” he said.

Earlier in the day, Mammootty drove himself to the Club FM studio. The staff led by Mathrubhumi Director (Marketing and Electronics Media) M V Shreyams Kumar and Public Relations Chief Manager K R Pramod welcomed him.

The radio jockeys sung the popular song 'vennila chandakinnam’ from the megastar’s movie when he entered the studio. Before leaving, Mammootty also shared some light moments with the crew.

Club FM’s Dubai transmission was launched on last Thursday with youth icon Dulquer Salman as its brand ambassador.
