Sharjah: A Malayali youth was stabbed to death in the wee hours on Sunday in Sharjah. The deceased was identified as Hakeem (36), hailing from Mannarkkad, Palakkad. Police arrested a Pakistan citizen in connection with the incident.
The incident happened at 12:30 am at Bu Tina in Sharjah. Hakeem was working as a manager in a hypermarket in Sharjah.
He was stabbed while trying to mediate an altercation between his co-workers and a Pakistan native in a cafeteria near the shopping centre. His family revealed that the accused also stabbed two other Malayalis and an Egyptian citizen standing near him.
