Malayali youth dies as car crashes into camel in Jeddah
Karuvarakundu: A Malayali family returning from Medina to Jeddah met with an accident when the car hit a camel. One person was killed and six others were injured in the car crash. The deceased was Rishadali (28), son of Tuvvur native Aalakkadan Abdulla and Fathima Suhara.
There were seven members from two families in the car when it met with the accident. Rishadali’s daughter Aimi Roha, (3), Rinshila (24), Muhammad Bins (16) sustained minor injuries. But the condition of two others, Ramlath (52) and Rishadali’s wife Farseena are critical.
The families were planning to come home on Wednesday after the Umrah pilgrimage. The accident took place at Rabak while returning via Badr from Medina. On the way, camels rushed to the road and the car lost control.
The injured were admitted to a hospital in Jeddah and Rishadali’s mortal remains is kept at a hospital in Rabak.
