Malayali expat dies in Dubai, video shot soon before leaving home pains netizens

Kozhikode: A Malayali expat died in Dubai the next day after returning from his residence in Vadakara following a vacation. The deceased has been identified as Mayyannur native Sakkeer (46).

The video shot soon before he left for Dubai remains a despairing sight for the viewers. In the video, Sakeer’s mother was found feeding meals to him happily before bidding farewell to her son. The video was shot by Sakeer’s youngest son Shahabas, who shared it via WhatsApp groups. Later, several people shared the video on social media following Sakeer’s death seeking prayers.

Sakeer’s eldest son Muhsin had found him dead in the bedroom the next day after he arrived in Dubai. The medical report cited heart attack as the cause of death. The mortal remains will be brought to his native on Friday, said relatives.
